Dr Steve Andrews is an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Brisbane Australia, specializing in Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand including microsurgery. Dr Andrews completed further and more extensive post fellowship training in upper limb surgery.

Dr. Andrews embarked on a journey to enhance athletic performance and recovery, prioritizing safety and efficacy. In 2022, Rygg was founded with a vision to establish a brand known for excellence, rooted in scientific research. Rygg has redefined the industry by introducing science-backed formulations proudly crafted in Australia.

Dr. Andrews’ knowledge has informed valuable feedback on product prototypes, scientific research, clinical trials, and regulatory requirements. Led by Dr Andrews, Rygg has ensured all RnD and final products comply with global medical and athletic agency standards. These include the TGA (Australia) and Informed Sport (UK). Dr Andrews has empowered Rygg to develop superior products, precisely tailored to athletes’ needs.
